Goals

  • Determine the “genetic profile” for this line of MACOMBER.
  • Establish the “lineage genetic profile” for this branch of MACOMBER.
  • Determine the origins of GEN 4 John MACOMBER parentage and ancestral origins.
  • Note: Fairly well. From #6 back is derived from the Stackpole Genealogical research which has some caveats regarding sources but I did visit Bridport and confirmed John (1585-1650) and his marriage. From William C. (#4) on, I did the research personally in Kent County archives and found and saw the actual vital record documents. Interested in learning how and when (or even if) Macombers got from Scotland to England. Or perhaps, if there's an earlier West England or Norman connection, it was the other way around.
