Goals

  • Determine the “individual genetic profile” for this COMBS line.
  • Establish the “lineage genetic profile” for this COMBS ancestry.
  • Specifically, determine the connection to the lineage of Archdale COMBES of Old Rappahannock and Stafford Counties, VA.
  • Note: GEN 3 Anna Mae Marcum was born Sallie Ann, called Annie Mae & used Anna Mae as adult. Although I was quite young, I do clearly remember seeing Cynthia Ann Combs Marcum (my GG Grandmother) and my mother talked often about her GG Grandfather Napoleon and Great Uncle Boney (Cynthia's son) In 1954 my mother & I took a trip to KY and we visited with Cynthia's Daughter Sophia) and my mother showed me Cynthia's old home.
