Virginia, Columbus & Eddie were born after the 1880 census. The picture was made at the D C Winters studio in Houston, Missouri sometime around 1890. My uncle Andrew Jackson Combs and my dad Alfred Washington Combs were born in 1889 & 1891 with grandpa' second wife Sarah Arter (see below).
Andrew Jackson Combs B. 1889 & Alfred W Combs b. 1891 both in Plato, MO sons of Edward D. Combs & Sarah Arter his 2nd wife. Sarah was supposed to have been 1/4 Cherokee. Photos were made 1910-12
