KS Notes: David VAUGHT m 6 Apr 1837 Morgan Co, MO, Saphony [sic] Combs. Joseph Silas VAUGHT later married Lucinda SIMMONS, a Cherokee Indian. When Joseph died, his brother William married Lucinda. William and Lucinda SIMMONS Vaught are my great great grandparents.
