Note: Minerva, d/o of Henry BANTA and Wilmouth Combs of Madison Co, KY where she married on 9 Sep 1837 Daniel B.[Boone] GOODE. This family may have been in Howard Co, MO in 1840 per the census index (entry for Daniel B. Goode). In 1870, they were in Sutter Co, CA. She was born 16 Dec. 1815 and died 17 Mar 1887 in Yuba City, Sutter Co, CA, per descendant Malcolm Goode (from Sandie Goldstein). According to descendants, they were in California by 1847, returned to Missouri, and then returned to California. 1900 Placer Co, CA Census
Wilmouth BOULWARE in the household of her son Wm H. BOULWARE. The census entry states she was born Aug. 1818, was a widow, and had 8 children still living.
Note: Wilmouth, d/o of Henry BANTA and Wilmouth Combs. Wilmouth was married to Madison BOULWARE. This family was in the 1870 Sutter Co, CA census. It is not know if the two families of Daniel B. Goode and Madison Boulware travelled to California together.
