Note: Minerva, d/o of Henry BANTA and Wilmouth Combs of Madison Co., Ky. where she married on 9 Sep 1837 Daniel B.[Boone] GOODE. This family may have been in Howard Co., MO in 1840 per the census index (entry for Daniel B. Goode). In 1860, they were in Placer Co, CA. She died 17 Mar 1887 in Yuba City, Sutter Co, CA, per descendant Malcolm Goode (from Sandie Goldstein). According to descendants, they were in California by 1847, returned to Missouri, and then returned to California. (by 1880) was her sister Wilmoth BANTA Boulware (wife of Madison BOULWARE).
