WATERHOUSE: The Visitation of Herts(?), Waterhouse Family, includes the family of John WATERHOUSE II of Whitchurch, Bucks (but buried at Berkhamstead, Herts), son of John WATERHOUSE I and his wife, Anne SPARKE, the latter of London, and brother of Agnes WATERHOUSE, wife of Robert COMBE of Newington, Middlesex. John WATERHOUSE II married Margaret TURNER, daughter of Henry TURNER of Blunt's Hall, Essex, Esq. Their issue included John WATERHOUSE III of Whitchurch (but also buried at Berkhamstead, Herts) who married Ann BIRKENHEAD, daughter of Henry BIRKENHED of Huxley, Chester. Issue of John and Ann BIRKENHEAD Waterhouse III included (among others):Thomas WATERHOUSE of Whitchurch (but buried in Acton, presumably Acton, Middlesex, although there is also an Acton in Suffolk) who married a daughter of Vallentyn PIGGOTT of Bechampton [Beachampton], Bucks, by whom John WATERHOUSE of Whitchurch who died s.p., and Ann.2. LOVETT: -----, daughter of Thomas and Ann DANVERS (DAUVERS) Lovett IV of Astwell, Northamptonshire, married (1) Thomas BARKER, Esq.; (2) Thomas DUNCOMBE of Whitechurch [sic], Bucks. Thomas IV was ggs/o Thomas LOVETT I of Soulbury, Bucks, whose ggggd Elizabeth LOVETT of Soulbury, Bucks, married John COMBE (s/o John and Margaret ARCHDALE Combe of Aldermanbury, London), whose niece, Lettice LOVETT, married Thomas PIGGOTT of Doddershall, Quainton, Bucks.
John WATERHOUSE of Whitchurch who married a daughter of MUSCHAMPE of Surry
The relationship, if any, of the Piggots to each other remains unknown.
