St Martin Ludgate, Ludgate Hill (0.87 mi.northwest of city centre), was rebuilt in 1677-1687. St Mary Magdalene Old Fish Street and St Gregory by St Paul were united to St Martin in 1890. Parish records are in the Guildhall Library: baptisms, 1538-1929; marriages, 1538-1953; banns, 1754-1958; and burials, 1538-1848. Later baptisms and marriage registers are retained by the incumbent. A partial index to baptisms for the years, 1539-1875, is in the IGI. Marriages are not in IGI?
