Note: It is not yet known to which William NORRIS the above record refers, nor the identity of either of the two William Combs or the Mary COMBE, although it appears likely that William COMBE the elder might have been brother to Joseph Combs who d 1620, and father to William COOME the younger as well as to Mary COMBE?

Also note that Bridget ARCHDALE, niece of John and Margaret ARCHDALE Combe of St. Mary the Virgin Aldermanbury, London, had married a HARRIS, possibly Richard, who was possibly the father of her sons, William and Richard (See Archdale Families, 1629 will of Bridget's first cousin, William COMBE, and 1631 will of her brother, Abraham ARCHDALE, both of Oxfordshire.
