Additional Notes: Clearly written as Coons in the original; however, the name was Combs and there was also a family of Coons in Champaign Co. The following 1925 Champaign Co. record might be of interest those researching the family of the Rev. William R Combs. His 1870 census record indicates a man of some means with real estate valued at $12,500.
