Sedgwick County was created from Butler Co and Marion on 26 Feb 1867; not fully organized. Sedgwick Co attached to Butler Co "for judicial purposes" on 02 Mar 1867. Fully organized, detached from Butler Co. on 27 Apr 1870. Lost to creation of Harvey Co, and lost to Reno Co on 07 Mar 1872.

She belongs to the Twentieth Century Club and the Chartered Missouri Society. Mr. Combs attended Mt. Pleasant College in Missouri. He is a member of the Southern Club. Mrs. I. L. Woodward (Miss Nannie Mae Combs) and Mrs. H. G. Cook (Miss Margaret Combs) live in Ottawa, Illinois. The sons are Mr. Cleve Combs in the East, Mr. Harry Combs in Wichita.
