1807 Clark Co., KY Deed Index Book 6:196 From HOLDER, John R. E. To COMBS, Samuel R. &c. (Wives names: 1. Theodocia [HOLDER] & 2. Margaret THOMSON) by Sheriff
Notes: Samuel Richardson, son of Benjamin & Sarah RICHARDSON Combs, married (1) 9 Oct 1797 (date per his granddaughter, Mary Salisbury COMBS York, marriage record not found), Theodosia HOLDER; and (2) 30 Apr 1826, Clark Co., KY, Margaret THOMPSON. For the above record to include both wives' names apparently indicates later papers included with record. From this time on, Samuel Richardson is involved in numerous deed transactions, most apparently with his 1st wife's family, and those have not, for the most part, been included here (See Clark Co., KY Deed Index) unless of possible genealogical value.
