Notes: According to Researcher Bert L. Nye, one of the above was Joseph Richardson COMBS who m 1825, Frederick Co, MD, Margaret Ann BOOGHER, and who, in 1841, purchased a shoe factory in Unity. (Note that Samuel COMBS I of Loudoun Co, VA was also a shoemaker). Joseph R. d in 1874 according to his Family Bible Record, in Unity according to Nye. He is missing from 1850 census, but on is on the 1860.
