Logan County is located in the mid-western area of the state. The county seat is Bellefontaine. It was formed in in 1817. Bellefontaine, Zanesfield and West Liberty were among the first three villages in the county.

If Jacob's age of 46 is correct, he could not have been born in Nov, he would have had to been born before June 22nd. If, per the 1920 census he was already 66 in early January, his month must have been January. They would have married about 1888/1889. According to 1910 census (below) this is Jane's 2nd marriage.
