13 Apr 1823 Tuscarawas Co, OH Vital Records. Married: COMBS, Sarah & MOTTS, David April 13, 1823

(Transcribed by Combs Researcher Pat Orton)

Note: According to "Tuscarawas Co. Marriage Records 1808-1845," by Marguerite Dickinson (1959)), extracted by Combs Researcher Bob Combs, this was David WOTTS, not MOTTS.

SW: WATTS, MOTT

July 13 1823 Tuscarawas Co, OH. Vital Records. Married: COMBS, John & RAMMAGE,* Susannah (Transcribed from copy of original by Combs Researcher Pat Orton who adds that RAMMAGE was nearly unreadable so not certain)

Note: Extraction by Combs Researcher Bob Combs from "Tuscarawas Co. Marriage Records 1808-1845," by Marguerite Dickinson (1959)) confirms surname RAMMAGE.

Notes: John COOMBS enlisted in 1811 in the War of 1812 in Fayette Co, PA. According to his pension file, he was married on this date to Susannah RAMAGE [sic] in Holmes Co, OH, not Tuscarawas, thus likely he lived in that part of Tuscarawas which became Holmes. Not found as yet in other records for this county.
