MARRIAGE: Kenneth Murray and Flossie Combs, Jackson County, Oregon

TO BE BRIDE TODAY

Miss Flossie Combs, daughter of Mrs. Martha Combs, and Mr. Kenneth Murray, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Murray, will be married at 7:00 o'clock this morning at a quiet ceremony at the St. Mark's Episcopal church, Father Wm. B. Hamilton officiating. Immediate relatives of the bride and groom will be present.

Miss Combs will wear an ensemble of wood violet and carry a bouquet of rosebuds. Following the ceremony the bride and groom will leave for a two weeks' motor trip through California, after which they will be at home to their friends at 311 King street.

Miss Combs, who is a graduate of the Southern Oregon Normal school and a popular member of Medford's younger set, has been teaching in the Butte Creek school for the past two years. Mr. Murray is a member of the Medford Printing company staff.

BERNICE WALCH TAKEN BY DEATH

Bernice Walch, 27, passed away at the Ashland Community hospital Sunday evening, after a very short illness. She was born at Ashland, Oregon, September 28, 1908, and was the eldest daughter of Fred and Helen Combs of Talent, Ore.

Bernice Combs was united in marriage to Lloyd Walch, October 13, 1928 at Grant's Pass, Ore. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband Lloyd and three children, Kenneth aged 7; Harold, 5 and Lela Maxine aged 5 days; also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Combs of Talent, Ore., two brothers and one sister, Howard of Klamath Falls, and Everett of Talent and Miss Helen Combs of Talent.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., Rev. W. A. Dawes officiating. Interment in the Central Point cemetery.
