№ 3 John Daniel: Had various pieces of property on Upper Part of Short Mountian. Born 1769 Va. died 1853 Cannon County Tn. Submitted by ">Robert Wilkinson

№ 25, № 29 and № 30, James Glass, Claiborne and Augustus GUNTER were brothers of Rev. War Soldier Joel GUNTER who d 22 Aug 1839, Warren Co, TN, s/o John and Amy TILLOTSON Gunter of Chesterfield Co, Virginia, later in Guilford Co, North Carolina. These brothers migrated to Warren Co., TN via Burke Co, NC. One of the two John GUNTERS (Nos. 31 and 32) is the s/o Augustus. The other was possibly John GUNTER, another s/o John & Amy TILLOTSON Gunter, a Cherokee Indian trader, and ancestor of American humorist, Will ROGERS. Is № 36 Hardy JOHNSON s/o Stephen & Alice DODSON Johnson of Hawkins/Grainger County, Tennessee? (The latter d/o Thomas DODSON of Richmond, Fauquier, Halifax VA and Hawkins Co, Tennessee) and sister of Jesse DODSON who m Judah COMBS in Halifax Co, VA, later in White Co, TN)

№ 44 Able HULL was born between 1775 & 1789 in VA. and he died between 1829 & 1832 in Wayne Co., TN. He married before 1810 to Mary BUTCHER (1792-1820's), dau. of Richard BUTCHER & Martha HAWKINS. Her uncle-in-law's No. 06 John PIT(T)S married Sarah HAWKINS & No. 37 William CAMPBELL married Susannah HAWKINS and her uncle No. 38 John HAWKINS all migrated from Madison Co., KY. to Smith (later Warren) Co., TN. in 1806. Also her sister Susannah BUTCHER married c1814 in Warren Co., TN. to No. 15 James ENGLISH,Jr. (a Methodist Preacher).
