John T. COMBS died at home on South Third Street Road. He was fifty-three. He is buried in Oakwood Cemetery. He was a rancher and farmer near Waco for twenty years. He was considered a pioneer in the meat-packing industry there. He was survived by his wife, daughter Mrs. E. A. JOHNSON, son Clyde COMBS, son Harold COMBS, sister Mrs. S. R. MOORE, all of Waco, and sister Mrs. E. P. COLLINS of Eldon, Missouri.
