Note: Francis H Combs BRASHEARS, d/o of RW Robert Combs and his wife Sarah LINTON?. Her age is misstated. She is documented by her Fauquier Co. marriage bond (29 Apr 1814) to John W. BISHEAR, an 1825 deed of trust from her father Robert Combs to Henry GLASCOCK, and a Fauquier Co Chancery suit between the heirs of Robert Combs. Her husband John may have been deceased as early as 1825. This family, including Frances, age 73, are next found in the 1860 Marion Co, MO census. Her daughter Mary Elizabeth married Valentine Harrison Surghnor. See also the IL SAR Biography of Valentine Harrison SURGHNOR, b 8 Feb 1847, Pruntytown, Va. [Taylor County, WV]
