St Bartholomew Exchange,

St Bartholomew Exchange (a.k.a. St Bartholomew by the Exchange, 1.24 mi. north of city centre) was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666, rebuilt, then demolished 1891-2. It was united to St Margaret Lothbury in 1839. Parish records are in the Guildhall Library: baptisms 1558-1711/2, 1723/4-1840, marriages 1558/9-1706, 1723/4-1840, banns 1754-1840, burials 1558-1678, 1706-11, 1723/4-1838 The registers for baptisms 1712-23, marriages 1706-23, burials 1678-1706, 1712-23 not extant.
