SE Notes: Martin Combs married secondly Permelia SEXON on 14 Jul 1836 in Monroe Co, IN. In 1850 they are in Lawrence Co, IN but not yet located in 1860. He first married Mary FODRILL in Monroe Co and Gideon appears to be their son. This family missing in the 1860 census but believed to have been in Coles Co, IL. Their son Martin F was born in Mattoon, and several children were married in Coles Co. Permelia states in 1900 that she has had 13 children with 11 living which is quite remarkable.

SE Notes: Martin Combs married Permelia SEXON on 14 Jul 1836 in Monroe Co, IN. Lemuel B is first found with his parents in the 1850 Lawrence Co, IN census. He is next found in 1870 in Grundy Co, MO. with his wife Catherine and then removes to Nodaway Co where his mother and siblings resided. By 1900 he has removed to Johnson Co, MO. The above informant is Helen VAN CLOSTER, a daughter who is shown living with her father Lemuel and her brother William B in the 1920 Jackson Co, MO census.
