St Katherine Coleman,
(0.62 mi. east of city centre) London
St Katherine Coleman was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666, rebuilt 1738-41, demolished 1926, and united to St. Olave Hart Street in 1921. Parish records are at the Guildhall Library: baptisms 1559-1914, marriages 1563-1738, 1741-1920, banns 1754-1916, marriage licenses 1760-1872, burials 1559-1741 1813-53. No burials registers for 1742-1812 are extant. For later baptisms, marriages and banns, see St Olave Hart Street. A partial index to baptisms and marriages for 1710-1876 is in the IGI.
