St. Michael Bassishaw,
(1.24 mi. north of city centre) London
St Michael Bassishaw (1.24 mi. north of city centre) was rebuilt after the Great Fire of 1666, but was sold in 1899 and demolished in 1900. It was united to St Lawrence Jewry in 1897. Parish records are in the Guildhall Library: baptisms, 1538-1892; marriages, 1538-1890; banns, 1755-1892; and burials, 1538-1853.
