Hayes Parish, Hundred of Elthorne, is abt 10 mi. northwest of the centre of the City of London, with Hillingdon to the west; Ickenham to the northwest; West Drayton and Harlington to the southwest; Cranford to the south; Hanwell and Heston to the southeast; Greenford to the east; and Northolt to the northeast... The living comprises a rectory, which is a sinecure, and a vicarage, with the perpetual curacy of Norwood, in the peculiar jurisdiction of the Archbishop… and in the patronage of T. and J. GRAHAM, Esqrs.
