Notes: Wiley Combs, born 1823-6, KY, was the son of Henry & Nancy BROWN Combs of Perry Co., KY where he is listed in their household in 1850. Wiley and Polly may never have resided in Carter Co since the birth of their first known child, Francis Marion, was recorded in Perry less than a year after their marriage, on 9 Jan 1852. By 1860, Polly was apparently deceased as only Wiley and the children are in the Perry Co census.
Important: All Combs records for Carter county may not have been added here.
