Johnson Co., KY was established in 1843 from Floyd, Morgan and Lawrence Counties. KY. Descendant Counties include Martin Co., KY, created from Floyd, Johnson, Pike and Lawrence in 1870. No Combs have been found on either the 1844 Johnson Co., tax list or the 1850 Johnson Co., census (1860 not checked yet).

Except where otherwise noted, the source for all Johnson County KY Marriages from 1842-1908 is a previously unpublished manuscript by David May, who has kindly donated them to the KYGenWeb Pages. These files may be freely used but under no conditions may they be included in any work to be sold. Some records include age and if it's first or second marriage.
