Archdale, Combs &c. Families of
St Thomas Apostle, London

St. Thomas Apostle was destroyed in 1666 and united with St. Mary Aldermary in 1670. Registers are extant for baptisms, 1558-1679/80 and 1704-1873; marriages, 1558-1869; banns, 1770-1873; and burials, 1558-1679/80 and 1704-1849. No baptismal or burial registers are extant for 1680-1704, although it is possible that these are among those entered in the register of St Mary Aldermary where parish of origin of the person baptised and buried is not stated. For later baptisms, marriages and banns and for marriage licenses from 1860, see St Mary Aldermary. A partial index to baptisms and marriages for the years 1558-1873 is in the IGI.
