Shaftsbury is four miles north northeast of East Orchard Shaftsbury was home of Mary FOYLE, wife of Edward COMBE, of Norton Ferrers Manor, Netherhampton and Tisbury, Wiltshire. and Stock Gaylard, home of Barnaby LEWIS whose sister, Ann, married Edward COMBS: (neither the marriage record nor Stock Gaylard have been located as yet).
