St Botolph Without Bishopsgate (a.k.a. St Botolph Bishopsgate) (.87 miles northeast of city centre) was damaged in 1666, rebuilt in 1725. All Saints Skinner Street united to St Botolph in 1869.* Parish records are in the Guildhall Library: baptisms 1558-1898, marriages 1558-1958, banns 1653-60, 1833-1950, marriage licenses 1848-1873 burials 1558-1849. Later baptisms and marriages registers held by incumbent. A partial index to baptisms and marriages 1558-1862 is in the IGI

* All Saints Skinner Street is a district chapelry constituted in 1864. Parish records are in the Guildhall Library: baptisms 1858-67, marriages 1864-69. Not indexed in the IGI?

Edward DITCHFIELD (s/o Edward DITCHFIELD of Edmonton, Middlesex and London, married Mary MANNING, d/o Randall and Mary COMBE Manning of Edmonton, Middlesex, who married 13 Dec 1608, St. Mary the Virgin Aldermanbury, London, the latter the d/o John and Margaret ARCHDALE Combe (Further documented by Visitations). Mary MANNING Ditchfield was named in the 1650 Leicestershire will of her maternal aunt, Barbara ARCHDALE Palmer, and may have been the cousin MANNING named in the 1629 will of her first cousin once removed, William COMBE of Oriel College, Oxford University.
