St. Peter Paul's Wharf,
City Centre, London
St. Peter Paul's Wharf (city centre) was destroyed in 1666 and not rebuilt. It was united to St Benet Paul's Wharf in 1670, and to St Nicholas Cole Abbey in 1879. Parish records are in the Guildhall Library: baptisms, 1607-1886; marriages, 1607-49 and 1653-60; and burials, 1607-1848. For marriages circa 1680-1879, see St Benet Paul's Wharf. For later baptisms and marriages, see St Nicholas Cole Abbey. A partial index to baptisms and marriages for the years 1607-1837 is in the IGI.17 Sep 1609 Saint Peter Pauls Wharf, London, England. See also both St. Mary the Virgin Aldermanbury and St. Stephen Coleman St., London for additional records of Ellis who was "somehow" related to John and Margaret ARCHDALE Combs according to the 1629/30 Oriel College, Oxfordshire will of their son, William. Also note that Margaret ARCHDALE Combe's father, Thomas ARCHDALE was also a draper.
