Ohio Co., KY was established in 1799 from Hardin Co., KY. In 1810 Grayson Co. was established from Ohio and Hardin, and Butler from Ohio and Logan. In 1815, Daviess was established from Ohio, and in 1829, Hancock from Ohio and Breckinridge. In 1854, McLean was established from Ohio and Daviess.

Notes: Eden L. COOMBS has not yet been located in 1850. An Aden COOMBS is on the 1850 Hart Co., KY Census was the son of Samuel Coombs of Tonolloways and was also found in the 1840 Hart Co., KY Census. The only other Aden, Eden, etc. in 1850 known was in Clark Co, IN.
