1733 Extracted by Combs Researcher Barbara Jones from Internet Library of Early Journals, Gentleman's Magazine Vol 3, page 270:

Deaths, &c for 25 May 1733:
"John COMBS, Esq; at Hertford, formerly Turkey Merchant worth 20,000l [pds.]."

Given his occupation and former residence, should consideration be given to the possibility that John COMBS was possibly connnected to the Levant Company (See Drapers Guild)?
